Have you ever wondered what it was like to live through World War I, either as someone on the front or here at home?
Beginning Tuesday May 30 until Friday June 30, stop by the Cookstown Branch of the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library (20 Church Street, Cookstown) to visit our exhibit "Simcoe County at War" and learn more about how the Great War shaped the experiences of the men and women of Innisfil and beyond. This display features photos, objects, and other memorabilia from the Our Stories collection as well as the Simcoe County Archives and Archives of Ontario.
World War I soldiers in band uniform at the Barrie Armoury
Accessible all day during normal hours of operation and entirely free, don't miss this opportunity to step back in time and remember those from our own community who sacrificed so much a century ago.
